Golf Director

Lisa asks
I want to eventually become a college golf coach…?
What do I need to major in at college? What do I need to major in if I want to become an athletic director?

golfnutter answers:
Law. Also – if your college has a PGA sponsored program such as Mississippi state … You could graduate college as a PGA professional.I’d suggest Law School for being an Athletic Director. You have to negotiate contracts and know all the legalities such as NCAA regulations etc.

Daniel asks
Should I continue going to my golf club even though I don’t want to?
I’m in the middle of a dilemma right now; I don’t know if I should continue going to my golf club. I know it’s not some life-threatening problem, but I would really appreciate your opinion and advice.Basically, the club holds tournaments and is a great place for golfers to hang out and play. I have friends there and it’s a really cool place. logo designer . However, I’m just not feelin’ it. I just don’t like the club anymore – it’s boring. I’m practically the only girl there, and there’s only about 4 kids there total. I’m 17 and I’m nationally ranked. It’s the only club near where I live and if I don’t go there, then I can’t even play any tournament golf games. That might hinder my golf potential, but I’m just not feeling that vibe from this golf club anymore. And my friend who’s the director of the golf club doesn’t want me to stop going there because I’m (as I already said) practically the only female there. What should I do? Thank you.

golfnutter answers:
If you want golf as a career or even for scholarship potential etc. You must use resources at hand, i.e. Keep going. If you are finished with the golfing at this time – don’t go. I think your parents may have something to say about the situation as well.
